Dark Holler Arts News/Update, February 2015

NIGHT‘s new full length (and their first for Hand/Eye), Satellites is available to pre-order NOW. NIGHT have delivered their strongest work to date, a sonic exploration of inner and outer space through expansive music with elements of post-rock, drone, space-rock, metal, ambient and more. See below for more details.

Next up on Lost Grave will be Grave Needs, a 2CD set from Time Moth Eye and the Spectral Light. Fully acoustic, this follow-up to the first TME&TSL (Undeath) finds Timothy, with the help of friends both new and familiar, returning to his wyrdfolk roots with a collection of earthy, witchy folk songs (CD1) and longer, more experimental folk-drone pieces (CD2). Lots of new original songs, some covers (including Fleance, and The Partisan), a traditional song, and some reworkings of material from previous releases. Grave Needs will come with a 28-page illuminated/illustrated booklet containing all new art and hand-lettered lyrics done especially for this set. We’ll send out another email when this project is ready.
