Connecticut’s proto-goth / post-punk pioneers, The Dispossessed, had an amazingly productive albeit far-too-short career. The Dispossessed combined 60’s garage rock sounds with a guitar-driven take on post-punk/modern rock into songs that managed to be dark, catchy, sardonic, and sparkling at once.
In their short time together, they released a 7” ep, and an LP. The Best of The Dispossessed presents 14 of their songs, including 2 from a 2003 reunion. This is a limited edition release – 100 copies only. Hand-printed arigato-pak covers (silkscreen black/silver) with insert.
Note: covers are hand-printed – each may display variation in detail and coverage.
This is the first release on Lost Grave, a new label brought to you by Dark Holler • Hand/Eye and Eleventh Key. We will concentrate on limited editions, hand-printed covers, special packaging, and interesting formats.
